Paramount Fencing Epping owns and runs this website, including its quote form. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Paramount Fencing Epping.
Below we explain the details we gather from a quote request, the reason for each, who else gets them and how to contact us.
What the quote form collects
Each quote request gives us:
- your name and phone number
- an email address, but only if you add one
- the suburb the job is in
- the fence types you tick, the rough length and any notes you add
- which page of the site the form was on
What's recorded automatically
The form notes when the page loaded and when you pressed send, so we can spot automated spam. The icon check stores a small cookie with the icon it last showed you, so it can ask for a different one next time.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the time of each request, for security.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you, to arrange a measure if the job needs one, and to prepare and send your quote. Your details aren't sold, and we won't send you advertising.
Who else sees your details
Your quote request is passed to the fencing business whose installers measure, quote and build the fence:
Three service providers help run the site: the host, a database that stores your request, and an email service that delivers it to us. They only use your details to do that work.
We'll disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records things like the pages viewed and the type of device. It doesn't give us your name.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The quote form still works without analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Quote requests stay on file while your job and any follow-up need them, and for as long as record-keeping law requires. Then we delete them.
Keeping it secure
Your details travel to us over an encrypted connection and are stored with providers that protect their systems. Access is limited to the people who need it to handle your quote.
Seeing or correcting your details
Ask us at any time for a copy of the details we hold, or for them to be corrected or deleted. Send your request through the contact page and we'll answer within 30 days.
Making a complaint
Not happy with how we've dealt with your details? Raise it with us first and we'll look into it. If that doesn't sort it out, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy if the way we handle your details changes. Each change gets a new date at the top.
