How we build a fence

Every fence starts with a planned layout and deep posts. On Colorbond and other steel fences, we also screw every part down and match the colours.

We peg out the fence line first, planning it around your house, driveway and garden before a hole is dug.

A post that isn't deep enough lets the fence lean over time. We dig the holes deep and set each post in concrete.

Sheets, rails and caps are screwed down tight, so the fence stays firm when a hot northerly blows through.

We order the posts, rails and sheets in the same colour, so nothing stands out along the run.

You'll see the fence types and colours side by side. We'll tell you straight which look best and which last longest in your yard.

If timber suits your budget or your estate better than Colorbond, we'll say so. You'll know which option costs least before you choose.

Our workmanship is covered for three years. If a fault in our work shows up in that time, we'll repair it.

The old fence comes down and we haul it to the tip. If the old fence has asbestos in it, a licensed asbestos removalist has to take it away before we start.
